A valentine
Language: English
Of all the hues I love the best,
The whole world through,
The dearest and the loveliest,
Is blue, blue, blue.
For-get-me-nots, the starry-eyed,
The wild blue-bell,
Love in a mist, where fairies hide,
And shy speed-well.
The winding stream, the seas, the skies,
All these are blue,
And Heaven's blue, the lovely eyes
That God gave you.
