Heimkehr
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wald, nimm uns auf,
Empfange uns, Strom,
Zu weit ist der Himmel,
Zu hell ist der Tag!
Im Dämmer da leben
Der Gottheit wir näher,
Im Dämmer da gehen
Die hohen Gestalten
So gern über Hohen
Und blicken von Baumen
Hinaus auf das Wasser
Und fallen die Augen
Mit Leuchten und Lächeln
Und sinnen unendlich.
