Wenn Frühlingslüfte wehen im Thal, im Flur, im Wald
Die Blumen lieblich duften und Vogelsang erschallt,
da eil'ich gern in's Freie mit meinem Lieb'chen süß,
und schaffe mir hienieden ein himmlisch Paradies.
 
Das Küssen und das Kosen,
das ist mein Element,
ach, da fühl'ich mich so selig,
so glücklich ohne End!
Es wird ums Herz so warm mir,
es schwillt ganz stolz die Brust,
und ein wonnevolles Beben,
füllt mich mit Liebeslust!
 
Jawohl, es ist die Liebe das höchste Ideal,
der allergrößte Reichtum,
des Lebens Sonnestrahl!
