Fredlys din Jord, Du danske Mand!
Language: Danish (Dansk)
Fredlys din Jord, Du danske Mand!
Høstvejret hærger over Land.
Nu stimer Silden ved din Kyst,
og Laden bugner af din Høst.
Fred med din Jord og med din Strand,
Du gode, danske Fredens Mand!

Nu kriges Grib og Falk og Ørn;
værn om dit Bo og dine Børn,
beskærm dit lille Lærkeskjul
mod Himlens store, vilde Fugl;
Uvejret viger dog en Gang
for Sol og Fred og Fuglesang.

Omgærd din Gaard, stæng Laas og Slaa!
Ufred vil mange, Fred kun faa.
Vis, saa Alverden ser og véd,
at Du vil Fred og Ærlighed.
Løft over Danskens Jord og Strand
dit hvide Kors for Fredens Land.

Hegn om dit Hus og Hjemmets Jord,
værn om det Land, hvor Dansken bor,
da skal en Fredens Dag igen
Du finde Fjenderne som Ven.
Fredlys din Jord, Du danske Mand!
bevar vort Folk og Fædreland.
