Weep Not For Me
Language: English
Weep not for me
When thro' the portals of this life I pass,
For I shall see
With mine own eyes, as thro' translucent glass,
Death's mystery.

Weep not for me.
But rather let thy tears in anguish fall:
Go cleanse from thee,
All bitter slower doubts, that cloudeth like a pall
Thy charity.

Weep not for me;
God gave His Son our lives to save,
So let it be,
There is no death, beyond the earth ly grave,
Weep not for me
