Lift Up Your Voice and Sing
Language: English
Lift up your voice and sing,
even when all are silent,
many will hear, fewer will answer,
when will my voice be heard?

Even in darkness, even in pain,
will my voice ring out ever the same?
Will I have courage now and speak out,
even if none will come with me?
Come with me.

But still my voice will sing, my voice will speak out,
For I will sing even in darkness,
and I will sing even in pain,
because our lives begin to end the day we are silent,
for the time is always right to do what is right,
even if none will come with me,
For when everyone is silent
even one voice that shouts will be heard!
