Que de la mort certaine suis en brief.
Mon cœur en est le vray pronosticqueur,
Car la prison d'amoureuse licqueur,
Sans nul esprit me cause ce meschief.

En moy n'y a ny ressort ny relief,
Adieu amy, adieu seigneur et chief.
Fort triumphant et illustre vaincqueur,
Par testament ie te maisse mon cueur
Et vois morir, et adieu derechief.

Or au facteur de toute créature
Je rendz mon ame'et la mectz en ses mains,
Touchant ce corps mortel, c'est bien du moins,
Qu'il aile'en terre'attendre pourriture.

Mais quant au cueur i'eslis  sa sépulture
Avecq celluy que entre tous humains,
J'ay mieulx aymé selon le dict de maintz,
Dont en douleur ie fais fin à nature.
