Śpijcie łąki, śpijcie gaje
Language: Polish (Polski)
Our translations:  LIT
Śpijcie łąki, śpijcie gaje,
Noc w swe skrzydła bierze was!
Gwiadz nad wami krocie wstaje,
Śpijcie łąki – czas już, czas!

Śpijcie róże! śpijcie kwiaty,
Rosę sieje Boża dłoń.
Na pościeli swej, bogatej,
Krasna różo główkę skłoń!

Śpijcie wichry! – Ale burza
Nie przestaje we śnie wyć!
Miesiąc cicho z chmur wynurza
Drżącą blasków swoich nić!

Śpij serduszko ! – Lecz daremnie!
Uśpić je, nie ludzka moc –
Serce smutno puka we wnie,
Nie dla niego „dobra noc!”
