Alla Mamma!
Language: Italian (Italiano)
Lo sai, mamma che penso,
quando ti guardo in viso?
Penso che tu sia un angelo
Sceso dal paradiso,
un angelo pietoso,
che mi rasciughi il pianto
che blando mi sorride.
E mi vuol bene tanto,
che per guidarmi in terra
lasció l'eccelso coro
le belle stelle tulgide
e fin la aluccie d'oro!

Mamma, mammina,
dolce prometti avanti a Dio,
che mai di quelle aluccie
ti pungera il desio
che fin che io viva,
sempre tu mi starai d'accanto,
benevola sorridermi
ad aciugarmi il pianto.
Angelo per guidarmi,
per farmi onesta e pia,
ma un'angelo senz' ali
per non volar mai via.
