Tröst

När Sorgen kommer, som när natten skymmer
i vilda skogen, där man går vill,
vem tror på ljuset, som i fjärran rymmer,
och sken som skymta fram och flämta till?
På skämt de glimta och på skämt de flykta,
vem tar en lyktman för en man med lykta?
	 
Nej, sörja sorgen ut, tills hjärnan domnar
i trötthetsdvala, är den tröst vi fått
-- det är som vandrarn, som går vill och somnar
på mossans mjuka dun och sover gott.
Och när han vaknar ur den skumma drömmen,
ser morgonsolen in i skogens gömmen.
