Ich bin dir gut

"Ich bin dir gut",  --  des Wortes Segen
Versteh' ich erst, seit du's gesagt,
"Ich liebe dich", das klingt verwegen
Voll heißen Anspruchs und gewagt.

"Ich bin dir gut", wie dringt's zum Herzen,
Gleich einer Äols-Harfe Klang.  
"Ich liebe dich", stirbt oft in Schmerzen,
"Ich bin dir gut", tönt lebenslang. 

"Ich bin dir gut",  mir weht's entgegen
Wie ein Gebet aus deinem Mund,
Als würde mir der ganze Segen
Der reichsten Menschenseele kund.
