2. Was ich wünsche
 (Sung text)

Language: German (Deutsch)
Am Bächlein, da sitzet mein Liebchen,
pflückt Blumen, schaut sinnend umher,
wirft träumend ins Bächlein die Blumen;
ach, wenn ich das Bächlein doch wär'!

Die Sonne mit glühenden Blicken
weckt's Liebchen aus Träumen so schwer,
da lächelt ihr himmlisches Auge;
ach, wenn ich die Sonne doch wär'!

Umkost von dem goldenen Äther
die Wolke zieht über das Meer,
ihr strahlendes Auge sie grüßet;
ach, wenn ich die Wolke doch wär'!
