Zwei Lieder für 1 Singstimme mit Pianofortebegleitung , opus 7

by Leo Blech (1871 - 1958)

1. Altdeutsches Liebeslied  [sung text not yet checked]

Language: German (Deutsch)
Schau' ich dich wieder,
O Heimat süß;
Nicht von dir ließ
Mein Herz getreu und bieder.
O rosiges Rot, geh' mir auf,
Mag nur schauen Rosen,
Blühnde Liebesblüt',
Neig' dem Gemüt
Dich zu mit wonnigem Kosen,
Willst du springen, o schwellende Brust?
Halt dich fest in Schmerz und süßer Lust.
O goldnes Abendrot!
Schöner Strahl, sei mein frommer Bot'
Seufzer -- Tränen mußt
Treulich zu ihr tragen.
Und stürb' ich nun,
Möchten Röslein dich fragen,
Sprich: "In Lieb' verging sein Herz."
