Abendglocke läute Frieden in die Welt!
Löse mich vom heute, vom Pflug des Nachbars Feld!
Die in die Fremde wandern, zeig ein gastlich Tor.
Lasse gottwärts wandern, den, der die Seel verlor
Abendglocke klinge den Mond aus Wolkenruh:
“Auf, den Stemlein bringe die Goldnen Wanderschuh!”
