Zwei Lieder für Sopran mit Pianoforte , opus 27

by Alfred Grünfeld (1852 - 1924)

1. Wir sassen allein im Kämmerlein
 (Sung text)

Language: German (Deutsch)
Wir saßen allein im Kämmerlein,
ihr Auge hing an dem meinen,
es schwamm im Tau,
ihr Auge blau,
als wollt' es leise weinen.

Ich sagte nichts, ich fragte nichts,
der Seele heiliges Entzücken
nahm uns das Wort
von den Lippen fort
und gab's den schweigenden Blicken!

2. Lied eines Mädchens
 (Sung text)

Language: German (Deutsch)
Es ist ein süßes Leid
in meine Brust gedrungen,
ein Schmerz voll Seligkeit
hat leise mich umschlungen.
Ich weiß nicht, wie mir ist.

Ich war so froh und frei
wie's Vöglein im Walde;
ein Jäger kam herbei
und fing mich lockend balde.
Ich weiß nicht, wie mir ist.

Ein schöner Augenstern,
der hat mich auserkoren,
da hab' ich gar so gern
mein armes Herz verloren.
Ich weiß nicht, wie mir ist.
