Sånger till dikter av Erik Blomberg , opus 50

by Yrjö Henrik Kilpinen (1892 - 1959)

1. I dina händers mjuka fågelbo  [sung text not yet checked]

Language: Swedish (Svenska)
I dina ögons klara morgonljus
mitt hjärta vaknar. Allt är ljus.
I dina läppars höga kärlekssång
min glädje brusar. Allt är sång.
I dina händers mjuka fågelbo
min oro somnar. Allt är ro.

3. Modern
 (Sung text)

Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Framför en Mariabild vid vägkanten
låg en liten moder och bad:
"Guds heliga moder, Maria,
o, ge mig min son tillbaka!
Bland fiender ligger han slagen.
Allt annat, det vill jag försaka,
allt annat, men lös och befria
den ende jag än håller av
ur släkternas okända grav.
Ge mig min son tillbaka!"

De bedjande händerna veko
så ödmjukt mot marken tillbaka.
Det var som allt höll andan
i lyssandets bävande vaka . . .
Då ljöd som ett snyftande eko
ur himmelens bröst
Guds heliga moders röst:
Ge mig min son tillbaka,
ge mig min son tillbaka . . .

4. Jag ville vara tårar  [sung text not yet checked]

Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Jag ville vara tårar,
som falla i det tysta,
jag ville vara läppar,
av ingens läppar kyssta.

Gör mina läppar rena,
att de må allt förlåta,
och låt mig bli till tårar
hos dem som ej kan gråta.
