6. Grüss Gott, du goldengrüner Hain  [sung text not yet checked]

Language: German (Deutsch)
Grüß Gott, du goldengrüner Hain,
Grüß Gott, ihr blanken Stämme!
Frisch weh' auf euch die Luft herein
Der sonn'ge Bergeskämme.

Ihr Silberquellen all herbei,
Auf, klinget glockenhelle.
Es ist ja Lenz, es ist ja Mai,
Da singe Wald und Welle.

Ihr Vögel all heran, heran,
Wie dürftet hier denn säumen!
Der Winter legt die Welt in Bann --
Im Lenz da gilt kein Träumen.

Ihr Quellen springt, ihr Vögel singt,
Du Wald magst rauschend klingen;
Und wenn uns heut kein Lied gelingt,
Wird's nimmermehr gelingen.
