Parelglans en zonnevonk
O Maria blijder gloeiend
O Maria hooger klimmend
Dan er ooit een zonne blonk.

Schooner dan de middaggloed
Stroomt de breede stralenvloed
Van uw blanke maagdehand
O Maria blijder gloeiend
O Maria rijker sproeiend
Dan de volle zonnebrand.

Blanker dan de hemeltrans
Glanst de stillen stralenkrans
Van uw hoofd tot aan uw voet
O Maria blijder gloeiend
O Maria  alles vullend
Met uw rijken gratie vloed.
