A concert scena in five movements performed without pause, Alice Awakens is
drawn from Lyons’ mainstage opera A New Kind of Fallout, inspired by the life
and work of Rachel Carson, commissioned and premiered by Opera Theater of
Pittsburgh, with libretto by Tammy Ryan.
