Καποδίστριας = Capodistrias ; Monodrama of a secret life

Song Cycle by Calliope Tsoupaki (b. 1963)

The texts of this cycle were chosen and adapted by the
composer and consist of: 
- Fragments from the correspondence between the
international politician, former foreign minister 
of tsar Alexander I and first governor of Greece Count
Ioannis Capodistrias and the first lady of the tsarina
Elisabeth Alexeievna Princess Roxandra Stourdza. 
- A short added fragment of the letter of the 6th of 
July 1812 to the Immortal Beloved by Ludwig van Beethoven.
