Doch auch so ernst und kalt.

Mein Herz ein See,
In dem Dein Bildnis ruht
Und bist Du nah,
So wechselt Ebb' und Flut.

Du aber teilst
Dies wilde Drängen nicht,
Streu'st still auf mich
Dein träumerisches Licht.
