3. Frühlingsfeier  [sung text not yet checked]

Language: German (Deutsch)
  Klar die Berge, grün die Auen,
Und das Thal voll Veilchenduft;
Und Lerchenjubel hoch im Blauen,
Und so frisch, so frisch die Luft!
     O wer säng, wer säng nicht mit
     Freudig hell auf Schritt und Tritt!

  Glockenklang von allen Thürmen,
Aus der Ferne hergeweht;
In den Zweigen, anch den Stürmen,
Rings ein Lispeln wie Gebet!
     O wer betete nicht mit
     Innig froh auf Schritt und Tritt!

Text Authorship:

  • by Friedrich Heinrich Oser (1820 - 1891), "Frühlingsfeier", appears in Neue Lieder, in Erstes Buch, no. 29

4. Seligster Traum  [sung text not yet checked]

5. Morgenlied  [sung text not yet checked]

Language: German (Deutsch)
  Süß lächelnd, ein vergnügtes Kind,
Begrüßt das Licht die Flur;
Ihm folgt der junge Morgenwind
Auf duft'ger Blumenspur.

  Da schwebt in's klare Frühlingsreich
Ein Silberglockenton,
Dem zarten Ruf der Liebsten Gleich:
"Mein Herz, es heitert schon!"

  Aus grünen Feldern, reich bethaut,
Die Lerche singend schied,
Und wo die Höh' am reinsten blaut
Verklingt ihr Morgenlied.

Text Authorship:

  • by Georg Steiger , "Morgenlied", appears in Gedichte, in 3. Natur
