Da drüben, da droben, da steht ein schön's Haus,
und dort muss ich vorbei auf den Acker hinaus.
Dort muss ich vorbei, wenn zur Kirchen wir geh'n,
und da lug' ich hin, will mein Schätzel 'mal sehn.

Und wandr' ich hinauf, hab' ich still ein Gebet,
dass nicht lang' mehr mein Weg, ach, so weit zu ihr geht.
Denn so nah' ist das Kirchlein und der Pfarrer nicht fern,
und das And're, Schatz, weißt du: Ich möcht' dich so gern!
