Von Deinen rothen Lippen

Language: German (Deutsch)
Von Deinen rothen Lippen
Trink' ich den Frühlingsduft,
Und gieß ihn im Liede wieder
Hinaus in die reine Luft.

Er sinkt in die Kelch der Rose,
Die duftet so süß die Nacht,
Daß sie die Nachtigallen
Alle verliebt gemacht.

Wenn sie so süß nun schlagen
Vor deinem Fensterlein,
Dann weißt Du, woher die Töne,
Dann, Herz, o denke mein!
