Aber du gehst flammend unter

Language: German (Deutsch)
Aber du gehst flammend unter,
Sonn', im Abendrot
und nimmst ausgebrannt hinunter
jede Erdennot.

Und die Sterne kommen wieder -
ein erhab'ner Hort;
blicken still erquickend nieder,
jeder treu am Ort.

Ruhig weiter geht die Reise
ewig her gewohnt,
und da kommt nach alter Weise
auch der alte Mond.
