Es bergen dich Rosen und Efeuzier, 
Sie alle kosen so traut mit dir; 
Der Rosendüfte geweihter Schwall, 
Gestirne, Lüfte, sie grüßen all.

Ein Bild am Pfade so mild, so fein 
Die Frau der Gnade birgt hold der Schrein. 
Erbitt' mir Gnade, o Mutter du, 
Auf jedem Pfade und dann die Ruh.
