by Friedrich Wilhelm Grimme (1827 - 1887)

Vom Häslein und Mägdlein
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wenn sich kaum die Häslein wuschen,
Sommermorgens halber drei,
Sieht man schon im Kraute huschen
Jäger und den Hund dabei,
Jäger und den Hund dabei.

Kann die Jungfer nun die weichen
Flechten ringeln nach Gebühr,
Sieht man schon die Jäger streichen
Abendlich vor ihrer Tür,
abendlich vor ihrer Tür.

Ei da flüchten, will ich wetten,
Has' und Mägdlein allezwo:
Häslein will sich ernsthaft retten
Mägdlein denkt: ich tu nur so,
ich tu nur so.

Um den Braten zu erlangen,
laufen Bracken eins zwei drei:
Wer da will ein Mägdlein fangen,
Braucht noch keinen Hund dabei,
braucht noch keinen Hund dabei!
