Ich weiß nicht, wie es gekommen, Wie's zugegangen ist, Daß Du so lieb mir geworden, Daß Du mein Alles bist. Ich habe schon oft gesungen, Gegrübelt her und hin, Woher doch das gekommen, Daß ich so lieb Dir bin. Ich glaube, das hat gesponnen Die Lieb' mit ihrer List - Drum will ich weiter nicht forschen; Mir g'nügt, daß es so ist.
