Ach! Giebt's denn gar kein Vöglein mehr, Das mir vom Frühling wollte sagen? Es ist mein Herz zum Sterben schwer Von den gestorbnen, sel'gen Tagen. Ihr wißt es ja vom Frühling noch, Wie ich so lieb die Lieder habe! O Vöglein, Vöglein, singt mir doch Ein einzig Lied nur noch vor'm Grabe!
