Fedrelandet
(Sung text for setting by P. Okkenhaug)
 See base text
Language: Norwegian (Nynorsk)
Heilag, heilag er fedres jord!
Me trår med vårt blod i brann.
Heimatt til far og heimatt til mor
og heimatt til fedreland.
Her av den gamle heimlege grunnen
federnes heilhuga manndom er runnen.
Her er han funnen
dugen som evlar det federne vann!

 ...

Heimatt, heimatt til far og mor,
og heimatt til fedreland.
Heim til dei gamle mynduge ord,
som hyser vår fedreand'.
Her hev me gror åt evna og dugen
solrennings song gjennom moter og hugen.
Hugdomen trugen
vaknar og sprenger den framande band.
