Aux vergers lointains bâtir d'autres nids.

Filles de ma ruche, aimables compagnes
Au doux corselet d'or et de rayon,
Dans votre fuite à travers les campagnes,
Vous suivra l'esprit du vieux Palémon.

Allez! butinez par les lourdes treilles,
Les lauriers en fleurs, les rosiers grimpants
Oubliez, hélas! le pasteur d'abeilles
Qui vous chérissait comme ses enfants.
