Quando il mal provien d'amore
(Sung text for setting by T. Traetta)
 Matches base text
Language: Italian (Italiano)
Quando il mal provien d'amore
co' l'amor si può sanar.
Ma l'infido ingrato core
sanità non può sperar.
Ad un cor perfido
vi vuol un recipe
con dell'arsenico,
con dell'aconito,
co' le contaridi,
che fan crepar;
e se non basta,
se questo è poco
il ferro, e il fuoco
si può adoprar.
D'una ricetta
sì bella, e vaga
non voglio paga
e non pretendo
di farvi insulto
anche il consulto
vi può donar.
Signor collega
possiamo andar.
