Heil, lieblicher Frühling, verjüngte Natur, 
Ihr rauschenden, duftenden Wälder. 
Heil, muntere, fröhliche Sänger der Flur, 
Ihr grünenden, blühenden Felder.  

So lange die Erde im Weltall kreist, 
Bringt Frühling die Knospe und Blüte. 
Es steigt die Lerche gen Himmel und preist 
Des Schöpfers unendliche Güte. 

Und mit des Frühlings Blumen alsbald 
Erwachen die schlummernden Lieder. 
Und wie sie schallen in Feld und Wald, 
So hallen im Herzen sie wieder.  

O herzerfreuende Frühlingszeit,  
Voll Lieb' und Erdenschöne, 
Dich grüssen mit frischer Fröhlichkeit 
All' meines Herzens Töne.
