Es wohnet schon hienieden
(Sung text for setting by J. Rinck)
 Matches base text
Language: German (Deutsch)
Es wohnet schon hienieden
des Himmels süßer Frieden
bei frommer Häuslichkeit.
Den Gott geweihten Seelen
wird's nie an Freude fehlen,
an Glück und an Zufriedenheit.

Da teilt man alle Freuden
und tröstet sich in Leiden,
da geht man Hand in Hand
durchs kurze Pilgerleben,
eilt mit vereintem Streben
den Weg ins bess're Vaterland.
