Verlor'ne Liebe

Alles, alles nun zu Ende, Schmerz und Lust auf einmal stille, nichts als tiefe, blinde Nacht! Schweigend sitze ich und hülle das Gesicht in beide Hände. Alle Liebe hat ein Ende, Herz, wer hätte das gedacht? Selig, wer noch, was ihm fehle, fühlt, und sich kann rückwärts wähnen und im Schmerz verzehrt sein Blut! Ohne Sehnen, ohne Tränen leb' ich mich so fort und zähle alles alte Glück der Seele, wie verspieltes Rechengut.
