Zieht hin, ihr lieben stillen Lieder Zu meiner süßen Amaranth! In ihrem Herzen laßt euch nieder, Es ist ja euer Vaterland! Sagt ihr, ihr seiet kleine Sterne Vom Himmel, den sie mir geschenkt! Und zöget her aus weiter Ferne, Zu fragen, ob sie mein gedenkt!
Note: in Goldschmidt's handwritten copy at the BSB, stanza 2 line 1 word 4, "seiet", was written under the notes but crossed out and replaced by "wäret", possibly by another hand.
