Wunsch
(Sung text for setting by O. Dresel)
 See original
Language: German (Deutsch)
Auf schwanken Zweigen lauschen
  Die Vöglein mannigfalt,
Und leise Träume rauschen
  Schlaftrunken durch den Wald.

Die Nachtigall alleine
  Mit süßen Melodein
Ist wach in diesem Haine,
  Dazu das Herze mein.

Darinnen klingen und singen
  Viel süße Grüße, Lieb,
Könnt' ich sie selber bringen,
Wär's mir noch eins so lieb.
