Deine Güte Morgentau fall auf unser Matt Gewissen
laß die dürre Lebens-Au lauter süßen Trost genießen
und erquick uns, deine Schar, immerdar.
 
Gib, daß deiner Liebe Glut unsre kalten Werke Töte,
und erweck uns Herz und Mut bei erstandner Morgenröte,
daß wir, eh wir gar vergehn, recht aufstehn.
