Primavera

Ya nos traen los pastores la primavera.
Ya la pradera luce sus galas,
Ya se limpia de nieve la cordillera.
Brotan las fl ores y cantan las zagalas en
los alcores.
Ya se alegra la sierra,
cantan los riachuelos entre zarzales,
se levantan las nieblas de los picachos
y crece el tallo de los trigales.

A su paso, despacio,
pone la esquila la nota armónica
y el diáfano silencio del espacio
recoge un eco de bucólica.
Ya se alegra la sierra:
Del Duero reverdece la amplia ribera,
Los helechos, los pinos;
Ya es primavera.
