Consejo
Language: Spanish (Español)
Te voy a dar un consejo
que aprendí para mi daño,
un día en que me hice viejo
a causa de un desengaño:

Si quieres a una mujer,
quiérela de tal manera
que la dejes de querer
antes que ella no te quiera;

Porque en esto del amar
sucede lo que al reñir
que es necesario matar,
o es necesario morir;

Y el que no es tonto prefi ere
siempre que de esto se trata,
al golpe de que se muere,
el golpe de que se mata.

Porque al que mata lo encierran,
pero lo indultan después;
y al que se muere, ¡ya ves!
al que se muere lo enti erran.

Aquí ti enes el consejo
que aprendí para mi daño
un día en que me hice viejo
a causa de un desengaño.
