Edelweiss
Language: French (Français)
Our translations:  CHI
Viens sur l'Alpe au frontneigeux
Où sourit la pâle aurore,
Nous y cueillerons tous deux
L'Edelweiss qui vient d'éclore.

C'est la fleur des hauts séjours
qui ne craint pas l'avalanche;
Ses pétales de velours
Ont la grâce douce et franche ;

Et son petit coeur brodé D'or,
aux heures les plus dures,
Garde la sérénité
Qui convient aux âmes pures.

Que l'amour qui germe en nous
Et, ce printemps nous rassemble,
Que notre amour simple et doux
Aux fleurs d'Edelweiss ressemble ;

Et loin de souffles mauvais,
De la fange et des abîmes,
Qu'il rayonne pour jamais
Sur une Alpe aux blanches cimes !
