Love's golden days
Language: English
Love's golden days, with rosy haze, Reign ev'rywhere supreme; They make the world with bliss impearl'd Seem like an endless dream. For what is care, or dark despair, To those that feel the spell Of love's sweet pow'r, from hour to hour, And in its presence dwell. Oh! we will sing thy praise Yes, sing thy praise in joyful lays, And from the past recall Our own love's golden days The golden days, with rosy haze, The fairest, best of all Love's happy, golden days! We sing, we sing thy praise, And from the heart recall Our own love's golden days The brightest, best of all We sing, we sing thy praise And from the heart recall Love's happy, golden days.
