Bankettlied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Hell blinkt im Pokale
Der Feuersaft der Reben,
So lasst uns die Schale,
die funkensprüh'nde heben
Und preisen der Minne
holdritterlich Recht,
Sie zeugt und erhält
uns der Enkel Geschlecht!

Vinum clarum vinum verum,
Vinum est origo rerum,
Dulce Voluptatis os,
Splendidus amoris flos,
Te bibamus et amemus
Te bibentes et oremus
Poculum nec oscula
Unquam sint prohibita!

Lasst blühen die Herzen
Im goldnen Lebensmaien,
Gleich flammenden Kerzen
der Liebsten sie zu weihen,
Dass treu sie der Stärke
des Mannes vertrau'n,
Seid Ritter un Edle
im Dienste der Frau'n.

Cor sacratum puellarum,
Casto te ardore clarum,
Vas perdulce aureum,
Solem veris fulgidum,
Te petamus et amemus
Te petentes et oremus Amor,
jocus oscula Nunquam sint prohibita!

Und welken die Rosen,
Trübt Sturm die müden Augen,
Will Küssemund zum Kosen,
nicht Schwert zum Streit mehr taugen,
Lasst Lethe uns trinken
in lachendem Wein,
Den Becher in Scherben!
Die grabt mit uns ein!

Vinum clarum vinum verum,
Vinum est corona rerum,
Solis ignem effluens,
Maestam molem excidens,
Te bibamus et amemus
Venerentes te cantemus
In aeternum pocula
Nunquam sint prohibita!
