Take heed, young heart
Language: English
Take heed, young heart, to Time, How soft his footfall is; Even in sleep he watch doth keep, And, where love's garden lies, Plucketh his roses one by one, Till all thy Summer's done. Take heed, his voice is sweet, Luring thee to forget, Haunts thee with Spring e'er vanishing, Culleth thy violet, To wake thee ah! From dreams long vain Of what comes not again.
