Denn sie hatte noch von Herzen keinen lieb;
Neckte alle jungen Buben mit der Lieb'
Aber hatte keinen Buben, keinen lieb.

Als der Liebste nun gekommen in der Lieb'
Hat das Necken abgenommen in der Lieb,
tut das Mädchen nicht mehr scherzen mit der Lieb;
Denn sie hatte nun von Herzen einen lieb.
