by Julius Bittner (1874 - 1939)

Des Abends
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wind rauscht im Lindenbaume.
Mein Denken steht am Saume
Von Wachen und von Schlaf.
Der Mond geht sein Geleise,
fern eine Volksliedweise
mein lauschend Ohr noch traf.

Es ist kein Tod, kein Leben,
wie unbewußtes Weben
von ungebornem Leben
erscheint mir diese Stunde.

In meiner Seele Grunde
Taucht auf mir ein Erinnern,
ein Ahnen mir im Innern
vom Einstgewesensein,
vom Einstvollendetsein.
