Kleine Blume, bin dir gut, Weil so liebes auf dir ruht. Edle Hand hat dich gepflückt, Schönes Aug' dich angeblickt. Mit wie trautem Blick und Wort Gab er dich, o Blume, fort. Tauschte nicht den Edelstein Gegen deinen Zauberschein. Täglich in der Abendstund' Küßt dich weinend still mein Mund. Schlug' um dich ein seidnes Band, Trage dich als Liebespfand. Welkst du gleich an meiner Brust, Scheint mir das doch kein Verlust. Denke, stürb' ich auch gleich dir, Ehrt er Heiliges in mir.
