Winter of my soul
Language: English
Winter of my soul,
Melt away into the dawn of summer's shining
Radiant beauty giv'n to me from Heaven
To light the days of
Winter, slowly dying
In the heat of the sun
Gold that rains down upon me,
Soft in the morning breeze of Life that wakes my heart
To sing in its warmth,
Cool in the taste of sunshine I walk
In the beauty rising that calms
The storms of breathless cold with diamond love
Crown of Wonder given to me
From the Hand which loves me most,
holds me close
and endlessly comforts me
and whispers of peace.
Darkness of my wandering
You are broken by the light of Heaven's fragrance
Splendid glory given with
Loving closeness
To end the days of
Darkness, slowly dying in the light of the day.
Sky that breathes like freshness
Clear as garden scent of Love
That lifts my heart
To bask in its joy.
Full of waking colour I sense the peace eternal
That drowns the waves of storming seas
Raging lightly
Gift unending given to me
From the Hand which loves me most, holds me close
And endlessly comforts me,
And whispers of peace.
