L'oracle

L’Egyptienne a dit : Pose ton doigt de lys
Sur cette fleur qui baigne en ce vase d’albâtre ;
Si fidèle est celui que ton cœur idolâtre
Tu verras se fermer ces pétales d’iris.

Or, l’oracle a parlé. Mater amabilis !
Elle est close la fleur d’améthyste bleuâtre
Et l’espoir m’est plus doux qu’une chanson de pâtre ;
La vie est rose. Rose ainsi qu’un vol d’ibis.

Et dans ce froid miroir, mon confident unique
Où de la bouche amie, illusion magique,
Oisive je me leurre au semblant du baiser.

En mes yeux je relis et je chante en moi-même
Et je retrouve en l’arc de mes lèvres rosé
Ces mots, ces mots divins : Il m’aime !
