Another day
Language: English
A bird outside my window,
As I lay in bed, awake,
Was singing, singing
as though its heart would break
And I wondered for a moment,
What could the reason be,
So I said, "You saucy songster,
why sing so joyfully?"
Just then I caught the glimmer
in the mirror on the wall,
of the first faint flush of morning,
And I understood it all!
